New Balance XC-72 Shoes in Black and Gum. Designed with the brand’s Green Leaf Standard in mind, this new black and gum colourway of the New Balance XC-72 is crafted from at least 50% recycled content with a 5% recycled rubber outsole. Inspired by the archives with suede and recycled mesh uppers, the XC-72 also features a reinforced stability heel clip, a textile vamp, a single layer microfibre tongue and a split design rubber outsole that features both the XC-15’s gripper tread and the 375’s iconic studded design. Flat laces secure the sculpted tongue in place, whilst recycled ‘N’ logos detail each midfoot. Finished with printed insoles, a ‘70s inspired square toe box and with over-extended outsole details across each forefoot for enhanced traction and grip.
